Who we are
This website is operated by BABOLOON, a supplier of PTZ cameras, webcams, conference speakerphones, camera controllers and related accessories for broadcast, worship, education and hybrid meeting rooms. For anything in this policy you can write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you send us an inquiry. Our forms on the contact, product and warranty pages ask for your name, work email, company, country or region, the product or model you are interested in, an estimated quantity, and a description of what you need. The warranty form additionally asks for the order number, product model, serial number, purchase date and a description of the fault. We also record which page the inquiry came from.
When you order. We collect the billing and shipping details you enter at checkout, the items you ordered, and correspondence about the order. We do not process card payments on this website: checkout offers bank transfer and agreed payment terms, so no card number ever reaches this server.
When you browse. Our servers keep standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. The site sets a small number of essential cookies: a session cookie, the shopping cart cookie, and one cookie that remembers the models you added to a quote basket.
What we do not do
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not send your inquiry content to AI services or form-processing clouds.
Why we process it
To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation (at your request, before entering a contract); to perform an order you placed (contract); to handle warranty claims (contract and legal obligation); to keep the site secure and prevent spam (legitimate interest); and to meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation). Where we rely on your consent — the checkbox on our forms — you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
Who sees it
Access is limited to the BABOLOON sales and support staff who need it to answer you. We share data with service providers only where necessary to run the business: our email provider (263) to deliver notifications, our hosting provider, and the freight forwarder or bank involved in an order you placed. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Where it is stored
Inquiry and order records are stored on servers we control. Email notifications pass through our email provider. Some of these providers may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on the provider’s standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept while the request is open and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that a later follow-up does not start from zero. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Access logs are rotated automatically and kept for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site sells business equipment and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the back office is restricted to named staff, protected by two-factor authentication and rate-limited sign-in. Inquiry data is stored in the back office behind that authentication.
Changes
If we change how we handle data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
